As mass production and mass consumption has dominated the primary rules of human society’s economic activities, over-dependency on natural resources and over-consumption on the products from mass production are hence inevitable and bring a profound effect on the future of our next generation. A simple and clear effect would be that the waste increases and the environment load augments. Therefore, reducing the amount of waste and reinforcing the effective use of energy and resources has become the crucial issue which the global society should take immediate measures on. In light of upholding the sustainable development concept and the initiatives derived therefrom, including environmental protection, labor health, and industrial safety, LTW makes every effort to ensure the products and their processes in all aspects, including design, manufacturing, assembly and packaging, in compliance and consistency with the requirements and regulations enacted by international standards and rules. LTW provides RoHS-free products to its customers, and by the same token rejects any hazardous material or parts supplied by its vendors. With the certification of ISO 9001/14004, LTW has conducted an environmental systematic management approach, by carrying out the Plan-Do-Check-Act process, known as PDCA cycle, to gradually eliminate any potential environmental impact from the manufacturing processes, and thus establish the foundation toward its long range sustainable development.
